ALLISON WELCH
Principal
After working as an event planner, executive and personal assistant for over a decade, Allison Farrar Welch founded As You Wish in 2010. Allison’s passion for planning and organizing, as well as her signature blend of personalization and seamless services, has enabled her to successfully execute high-profile charity fundraisers and casual cocktail gatherings from New York City to Aspen.
Allison earned her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Coastal Carolina University while also receiving her certification in Meeting & Event Planning from the University of North Carolina. She is involved with various charities around Denver and enjoys yoga, hiking and spending time with her family and friends.
Nancy Thompson
Chief Lifestyle Coordinator
Nancy, a Connecticut native, moved to Colorado for college and embraced the state's active lifestyle and beautiful scenery. With a diverse background, she joined As You Wish, contributing significantly with her entrepreneurial skills and organizational abilities. Her dog treat business, inspired by her Lab during trail adventures in 2010, showcases her self-driven and multitasking nature. After a decade in the corporate sector, Nancy shifted to a role that aligns with her passion, leveraging her networking skills at As You Wish. She's known for her first-class service and strong client relationships.
Outside work, Nancy's life revolves around outdoor activities with her Lab. A passionate outdoorswoman and dog enthusiast, she enjoys hiking, camping, yoga, tennis, golf, and winter sports, reflecting her commitment to a balanced lifestyle embracing nature and wellness.
BREE WAROT
Senior Event Planner
Bree began her career in the ski industry with Vail Resorts and Intrawest before officially planting roots in Denver over 15 years ago. Since then, Bree’s passion for event planning and personal assistance serves as the foundation of over 20 years of experience in the hospitality and events industry across Colorado.
Bree enjoys creating memorable experiences for an extremely diverse range of clients while also executing both intimate and large-scale events. Her local knowledge enables her to authentically connect clients to top-tier resources for any occasion.
She is a foodie who enjoys traveling, snowboarding, hiking, yoga and is always down to experience new things.
Barrett Welch
Director of Finance
As our Director of Finance & Operations and husband of our founder Allison,
Barrett brings with him 15 years of corporate finance experience, as well as
an intimate behind the scenes knowledge of the As You Wish business model.
Originally from East Grand Rapids, MI, Barrett attended Aquinas College
where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Business
Administration.
Following college and several years in public accounting,
Barrett made the move to Colorado after accepting a corporate finance
position with Vail Resort’s private club division. Since then, Barrett has worked
for some Colorado’s largest companies throughout various industries, most
recently as the assistant controller for a multi-national company based here in
Denver. Barrett enjoys spending time with family and enjoying Colorado.
Samantha Watts
Lifestyle Coordinator
Originally from Minnesota, Samantha now calls Colorado home as she has lived here for
more than half her life. With a background in Exercise Physiology and a career in
Personal Training for over 20 years, she was ready for a change when her youngest
daughter entered school. By chance, she stumbled upon As You Wish and now gets to
combine both worlds.
It is hard to work on your body and mind where there is physical and mental clutter to
address. Once you meet Sam, you will see she practices what she preaches; how you do
anything is how you do everything. While managing both the team and the client, Samantha strives to always take a "down to earth approach"- whether it is organizing a space or the full spectrum of relocations.
When Samantha is not organizing, she loves spending time with her family (two young
daughters + husband + their dog), trail running, camping, rafting or exploring in the mountains year-round.
Chloe Farmer
Lifestyle Coordinator
Originally from California, Chloe moved to Colorado in 2016. She is a recent graduate of Colorado Mesa University, with a degree in Entrepreneurship. After six years of working office and odd jobs to gain experience and get through college, Chloe decided to plant roots in Denver and begin her career with As You Wish in 2022.
Chloe enjoys the diversity of every job, and creating a process to better fit your needs. The best part of every job is the joy from the clients after we have completed items on their to-do lists. From organizing your closet to helping you plan your next event, Chloe is eager to assist.
When Chloe isn't working, she enjoys camping, going to concerts, or visiting friends and family in California.
Shelby Garrett
Lifestyle Coordinator
Originally from Arkansas, Shelby and her husband settled in Denver. After working a decade in cosmetology and the retail industry, she was ready for something different. With her background in southern hospitality, she obsesses over attention to detail.
When she discovered As You Wish, she knew it was a match made in heaven.
Shelby enjoys creating personal relationships with each client she works with while completing things on their to do list at the same time. Her favorite part of being on the AYW team is the feeling she gets after completing a job, and seeing how much it has helped the client. She also loves the opportunity to express her artistic ability while organizing a closet or setting up an event.
Outside of her work career, Shelby enjoys going on adventures with her husband and dog, Olive. She loves trying out different restaurants and bars that are unique to Denver.
Lee Messing
Lifestyle Coordinator
Hailing from the heart of Oklahoma City, Lee, now resides in the Denver, along with her loving husband, their adorable daughter, and their sweet puppy.
Before embarking on the journey that led her to join the As You Wish team, Lee built a
rich and diverse professional background. She spent years in after-school education,
where she nurtured the minds of the future generation. Her 20 years in real estate
experience taps into her skills in organization and attention to detail. Lee’s love for
organizing, decluttering, and the magic of ROYGBIV (the colors of the rainbow) infuses every project. She finds immense satisfaction in transforming chaotic spaces into
harmonious, color-coded havens, ensuring that every item has its place. Her dedication
to bringing order to the chaos is matched only by her commitment to seeing a job
through, from inception to completion.
Maddie Karns
Lifestyle Coordinator
Born and raised in the vibrant city of Denver, Colorado, Maddie's journey has taken her from the Rockies to the heart of Texas and beyond. Maddie's passion for travel has taken her to far-flung corners of the world, where she's gained a wealth of cultural knowledge and problem-solving expertise. With a keen eye for detail, Maddie's organizational skills are second to none. Whether it's managing schedules, decluttering spaces, or coordinating complex tasks, she excels in bringing order and efficiency to every project she undertakes. Her style is not just about aesthetics but also about creating functional, harmonious environments that enhance her clients & lives. Her dedication, professionalism, and extensive skill set make her an invaluable asset to the As You Wish team.
